Mario Kart DS is probably the best in the series, and it's way more fun to play multiplayer against other DS' (locally) than play on a split screen... although this is purely opinion. I only like Dragon Quest IX and Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver a tad more, so it is a really hard call for me :(
