if I had a solid reliable ultra fast Internet connection and a very low ping to the nearest server then I could see myself paying a Netflix style $15 a month fee to play any game I want at any time, whether it's a new release or 10 years old, if you want to play with your freinds you wouldn't need to worry about everyone having a copy or not having some DLC etc. And also no waiting with games designed for the cload there shouldn't be any loading etc, no installing, no patching.
I think I would still play some indie stuff on a local PC and use portables/phones tho.
But it's unlikely that people outside of major cities will really have a great experiance with Cload gaming for the next 10+ years...
