Couldn't possibly agree more with this point. People need to realize the left lane is a PASSING LANE. The idea is you come up on someone slow, go around them, and get back in the right lane. If everyone did this there would be no traffic problems ever! But idiots instead go 105 km/h (100km/h limit) on Canadian highways in the passing lane for as long as they want even if they aren't passing people in the right lane. This pisses me off. I can't tell you how many times I've had to use the right lane (slow lane) to pass people who are going slow in the left lane (passing lane) which you are technically not supposed to do.
I also just hate people in general who don't go the speed limit. In rainy/snowy weather I understand it because its a matter of safety, but in good weather why the fuck do people go like 65-70km/h in an 80km/h zone? I was stuck behind some 110 year old man in a Crown Vic literally going 65 in an 80 today on my way home from school for the weekend. If you're that scared to drive (not even going the speed limit) you shouldn't be on the road. I move that instead of your licence being valid until your 80 (and all you need to do is a simple written test to renew it) you should have to take a full road test at 60 years old, then at 70 years, and then every 5 years after that. Old drivers are more of a hazard than teenage drivers.
I also hate dickheads who tailgate you at night with the super bright LED headlights. I was doing a more than respectable 78km/h in a 60km/h zone the other night and some fuckface in a pickup comes behind me with his bitch ass bright headlights (not highbeams, just the regular headlights) so I basically can't see a damn thing, but he doesn't have the balls to pass me (even when its clear to do so). Its bad enough that every other car has these stupid super bright headlights these days, but I don't need people tailgating me with them.
