As long as you merge right onto highways then I'll let you slide. I did bump into a woman (about a 2-3 mph collision)that kept creeping like she was going to turn a few months back. It was a stupid move by me to bump her but I could have sworn she turned considering she was practically out into the intersection and still didn't turn. I was looking to the left to see if there were any cars which there were only one or two coming in the fast lane. She could have turned into the slow lane but was too timid. We pulled over and there was zero damage to her SUV bumper. I didn't notice the dent on the front of my car (passenger side) till I got to my friends' house. The dent popped out in a matter of 30 mins with the help of a 100+ degree day. Just watch out or I might bump you!
