The question was specifically about the 3DS and if Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 would be enough to appeal to all demographics. The Wii user graphs were shown to illustrate that Mario titles are accepted by all age groups in America and Europe while there only is a problem in Japan. But that's what Monster Hunter 3G is for.

And it doesn't seem to be a bad answer to me. All that's missing is real expanded-audience stuff, which hopefully Nintendo has been shocked by their recent financial troubles into producing

(they should really do more Tomodachi Collection. Seems like a no-brainer)
