GTA V Trailer Countdown and Discussion Thread. Los Santos and countryside!!!

Ok so I watched the trailer and does it look like we play as that older gray haired man? He is the only character in the trailer to appear more than once. There is a close up on him on the balcony, he is wearing one of those masks when it looks like they are breaking into the bank, and you can see him driving the car in the scene after that.

There are a few african american characters in the trailer too (posting the for sale sign, saying no to the drug dealer, running on the board walk in the beginning) but I can't tell if its the same person.



Also the character says that he was tired of his old life and wanted to be a good guy, wanted to start a family, moved away from wherever he was, and bought a big house when he got to san andreas. So we know that he used to be a bad guy (gangster probably), is older (he wants kids), and is clearly very rich. I can't take credit for this, but on other places I have read that people are speculating this could be Tommy Vercetti trying to start over in SA. It also would agree with the idea that the main character is the old man. Also the voice does sort of sound like Tommy's at certain points.

Total speculation at this point, but its fun to guess!

According to rumours we'll be able to control several characters.

BTW, there's also a dog. Great, now we can shoot dogs, wait for PETA to complain.

You can shoot dogs and horses and all kinds of cute fuzzy animals in RDR (In fact you have to if you want the platinum) so if peta didn't make a big deal about that maybe they wont about this.  Althoug this IS GTA, which is a controversy magnet.

 

Any guess on when we'll next hear from Jack Thompson?
