The general consensus is that after Vita launches the 3DS will cease to exist, and after that happens nintendo is going to go bankrupt. It was the gaming press and Nintendo fans who were gushing over the 3DS, not the "Hardcore" gamers."
No, that is the CURRENT situation, NOT what was being done after E3 2010. It wasn't unanimous, but still widespread.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
