If you're trying to say it's better to have one parent at home, than none (or any other person), you might be true (yet, I had none and everything went fine for me).
In fact, it would even be better to have the TWO parents, I guess.
But if you're trying to say that parent should be the woman, then yes, you're out of the line.
Furthermore, I doubt that you're a parent yourself, because your view on work, time, money and time spend with children are pretty naive.
