it's not because they didn't have enough pre-orders; the manager said that he didn't want to pay the $300 an hour rate as the store is in the mall and that $300 supposedly goes to keep the lights on and pay the security guards for overtime!!!!

now I have to wait until 11:00 a.m to get my copy...DAMMIT!!!

That's because they would have to do a midnight launch for Uncharted 3 this week, and MW3 next week. They would rather pay the $300 rate for MW3 than Uncharted 3, thus they cancelled the UC3 midnight launch.

i don't think they are even fully paying for the mid-night release, since MW2 and Blops, the whole mall pitched in because the midnight release brought in so much money since alot of the people bought food and other things to keep them busy until the game was released, they even got sponsored by buffalo wild wings the maury and jaerry springer shows and this chinese massage palor which will all be there this time. this gamestop that had this was in the top 5 for amount of pre-orders for both MW2 and Blops.(in the north east)
