Who is demonizing OWS? And the OWS protesters don't seem to have a problem with the "mainstream media" (aside from Fox obviously)...

Here's the left-wing's favorite "news anchor" Keith Olbermann at the event, and there were plenty of other media personalities and celebrities showing up at the event like film maker Michael Moore, actress Susan Sarandon, the one guy from Rage Against The Machine, and others trying to plug it and bolster it as much as they can to make it seem like it's much bigger than it actually is.
I think you have it backwards OP... you seem to thing that OWS is some kind of counter measure to the mainstream cable news networks and their "brainwashing" of the public... but the truth of the matter is that this movement is being artificially inflated by mainstream media and cable news networks (again, with the obvious exception of Fox), and the minute the media stops running 20 fluff pieces a day on it and grows tired of it (which is already starting to happen), the movement will eventually die out due to nobody paying attention to them.
They can barely get a few hundred people together in the most populus city in the country, that also just so happens to lean very heavily towards Democrats / liberals, which make up 99% of OWS (see what I did there!) If this was in San Francisco or Berkeley, it would be absolutely no different and completely indiscernable from all the dozens of other protests and rallies held by far-left groups every year.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
