This is great but I think its already been done.

When I was growing up I was bit all day every day in my city. Especially if I went near the lake their were mosquitos everywhere. My city was well known for all of its mosquitos. I remember the whole lower mainland just covered in mosquitos you couldn't escape them.

Then when I was in middle school the municipality decided to deal with the problem and they said they would exterminate the mosquitos. Well within years their were virtually no mosquitos. In fact this whole summer I think I may have been bitten like 3 times in my city. I go to the lake and their isn't a single mosquito in sight.

I haven't seen mosquitos anywhere in the lower mainlands cities. If you want to find bugs you have to leave the city and go into the farm land. Up north the mosquitos are still everywhere but inside the city it would appear mosquitos have been entirely whiped out.

So hearing this news now is puzzling because as far as I knew they already found a way to whipe out the mosquito population.

When do you see anything living in the cities? I live in the suburbs and those suckas are everywhere!

Well their is a lake right in the middle of downtown. That lake used to be covered in Mosquitos and their was no way of avoiding them. They were all over the downtown area. Then the Government did something and within a few years they dissapeared. Though I must say the suburbs are still covered as are farm land and any areas outside of the densly populated inner city!

So then you should have said in your original post that mosquitos have only dissapeared from a small part of the world. The Government really has not taken care of this problem. Did you deliberately post here just to try to prove that what I said in my thread was wrong? For Shame!

Nope wasn't trying to prove you wrong just I know my local Government has been using a poison or some kind of product to slaughter the mosquitos for quit some time. So I'm wondering how this new product will actually rid the world of mosquitos? You stated the world but I doubt that this product would be allowed on the market if it actually whiped Mosquitos off the face of the earth. It appears to me like a fix to be used in urban enviroments and densly populated areas not for a global extermination or am I wrong in that assumption?
