Super Mario World sold the SNES and guaranteed its success. NSMB Wii pushed the Wii to holiday sales records and became the fastest 10m selling game on a single platform. It's baffling that it is so hard for people to comprehend just how big and important Super Mario Bros. is, especially because we are on a sales site here. Then again, Nintendo themselves also have trouble to figure it out too. |
