Well looks like it has been adjusted o.O

Australia & New Zealand Hardware (this week)

ConsoleWeekly (change)Total
PS3 11,921 (+27%) 1,319,902
3DS 6,338 (+7%) 160,730
Wii 5,762 (+40%) 2,483,966
X360 4,736 (+9%) 1,364,257
DS 2,559 (+24%) 3,158,110
PSP 371 (-3%) 728,910
PS2 51 (+24%) 2,550,619

wow looks like PS3 will pass 360 in no time! Wii won't pass PS2 and if it does PS2 will just pass it back up.

Wii's got another year to beat PS2, and you're forgetting the influence of Wii U sales on the older model well into 2013.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
