If people said they prefer GT5 and gave a legitimate reason, I accepted and did not debate their opinion. When people aregued that GT5 was supperior because of a flaw Forza 4 did not have, I did push that point onto those people. Everyone who was debating civilly came to that conclusion above, I only pushed it on the people who were making arguements to the game that made no sense (e.g. graphics in Forza 4 or physics in Forza 4 suck, when in reality they are at or above GT's level). I did not once tell anyone who said that both games looked and felt the same they are wrong, everyone has personal preference, and some like GT5's structure better. However most agreed, Forza 4 is a better game. Even if the physics and graphics are on par, Forza 4 has more game qualities and that's why it has a higher score on almost any website. "For Gametrailers, I'm making a statement, not an opinion" nope thats still an opinion... No I'm not trying to present it as my opinion, I want people to discuss this matter. Do you agree or disagree that Gametrailers ratings are fairer? In the other Forza thread I discussed this, and many agreed, and I wish to discuss this here, but people ignore my arguement because they'd rather argue the 10/10 score Uncharted 3 specifically got, when my arguement isn't even specific towards Uncharted 3. My arguement is about IGN, and I said that UC3 MP isn't perfect. BTW it was the GT review which pointed out the flaws in MP, I mixed them up (sorry). This was and always was a side point, my main point ws always that IGN ratings are shit now days, and this arguement was ignored because.... I insulted a PS3 game. geez, some people are soo defensive of PS3 games (not necesarily you), that they will defend the game more then participate in the debate. On this website, a lot more people critisize 360, and even Wii exclusives, but I don't see as much of a userbase defending those games. I specifically defend Forza a lot, I know that, I'M COCO for racing games. Others specifically defend ALL PS3 exclusives. For instance, osama has attacked me on Uncharted 3, GT5, InFamous 1 (I didn't even say anything negative about the game, he attacked me for saying "almost sld 2 million" instad of "will sell over 2 million"), and Killzone 3. I love all 4 of those games (well I assume I'll love UC3), why am I getting attacked for them? Maybe I did express my opinion as the general concensus, but before this thread, except for the IGN review, most people (real life and on VGC) did follow me. I did not mean to insult this game, and I appended my expression. I just hate arguements where people call me ignorant, or a fanboy, or unable to understand. Insults are not required in a debate. as for ocarina of time whatever thats unrelated anyway but as far as i know the gta series more highly regarded in terms of the adventure/open world genre i could be wrong of course GTA is highly regarded, but Vice City and San Andreas are rehashed, and GTA IV wasn't as big as OoT was. Just look at IGN's Top 100 every year OoT gets #1, and it's the same for many other websites. When this game came out, it was huge.

Watch the reviews which review in particular... they are many obviously, or is this like the other claim you made before when you suddenly realise that the reviewer never said that I replied to pezus, read that. I said I mixed up the reviews, GT called it short, but they both said 8 hours, and IGN said UC2 was 10 hours. So it is shorter, that much you really can't argue. "People in the beta themselves said they weren't impressed" no way! you must be joking dude! guess what though... that happens with all games... people weren't impressed with the killzone beta, the bf 3 beta, etc all games known to be more multiplayer focused... that doesn't mean however that all people are not impressed unless of course during the beta you interviewed every single person who played? like I said, before this thread, I thought most were inimpressed with the multiplayer. I can clearly see, at least on VGC, there are some people who really love it. I don't know why, but I love Lost Planet 1 MP, so I can kind of understand how you feel. It's silly fun MP, not as serious as CoD or other games, but you still care about K/D. |
See I can be a good person to debate with if you give me a chance. I know what I like, and I'm ot afraid to say it, even if it's a minority expression. No game is iniversally loved.
