I can love Pokemon SoulSilver so much because it is the difinitive Pokemon game. Black and White just have graphics improvements that should have been in HG/SS. They added way too many legendary pokemon bringing the total to like 60. A lot of the new Pokemon are just rehashes of Gen 1 and pretty much all the creativity is gone.

Yea, but Pokemon Black/White tried to do something with the plot. It was more then just compete against a rivel and defeat the Elite Four. The bad Team Plama actually had a valid reason to take over the world, and they manipulated one of the villians. Also Black/White has a significant post-game aspect to it.

A lot of pokemon are rehashed of gen 1, but same goes for gold/silver. Chikorita, like Charmader, is also literally on fire, and Tododile, like Squirtle is also an amphibian.

I dunno, Pokemon Black re-inspirted me to play the franchise, and combining my strongest pokemon of the DS generation, make a super team.
