Yeah, on one hand it's a shame that they're really letting it grow, because it seems like it might have potential. But on the other hand, they're leaving it for WP7, and because I'm a huge WP7 fanboy, I'm having a hard time feeling really sad about it.

Whether Stephen Elop made the right decision will be hard to tell though, since we'll never really know what MeeGo could have become. But I think he has a good point in wanting an ecosystem with support from other OEMs and a software giant like Microsoft, Nokia needs to get back on its feet afterall, and establishing a new ecosystem can be tricky to pull off.

Fair enough.

I agree that it's impossible to know whether Elop made the right decision, I just wish he had put more faith into it to not cut it off before it even had a chance to demonstrate itself. And from the looks of it, Meego is a thing of beauty. I mean, even Engadget praised Nokia for what they did with the N9 and Meego. That is saying something given Engadget's track record on Nokia related reporting.

Yeah, it does look slick. I'm not a fan of all its features, but I doubt I would complain if were to use it.

But WP7 in N9 hardware design is like sex for my eyes!
