if 360 can get the kinect effect it got last year then at this point i can see the gap going back to 3.5 AT MOST by the end of the holidays
but we all know that the kinect effect wont be as big as it was when it was 1st launched last year and i am also sure their wont be a $500 mill marketing/ads for it this time around aswell
now if microsoft were smart they would do the price cut no later than november 1st but if they dont then hey there is no telling where the gap will be
