I rather have uncompressed audio support through hdmi, how hard is it to turn the dolby digital encoder off...
1280x1470 can be better then side by side on a passive 3D screen since those half the vertical resolution and you end up with 640x540 per eye.
It depends on how the 360 scales to 1280x1470, if it simply scales the 2 640x720 images to 1280x1470 you're still screwed.
