Hmmm, I don't really like LA....
To me, it is not as distinctive as somewhere like San Francisco, Vegas, New York or many other places, beyond the Hollywood sign. I would happily have it there, but I would still really like a San Andreas like state, just so I can have fun cruising around the countryside, in the same way that in Red Dead you could just be immersed in your thoughts riding around the desert on your own.
The idea of playing from multiple different characters is interesting, but I am not convinced, though I am sure R* will manage to convince me it is a good idea. I just think that it kind of ruins the idea that you are controlling a man from the traditional rags to riches, and I kind of like that, I think saving extra characters for DLC is a better idea, rather than getting some messy storytelling. It also strongly implies that it is going to be a less open game. I wouldn't suggest that it is going to be like Mafia II, in that it is a linear game in a sandbox, but your freedom is going to slightly restricted when you are changing characters, and it would also suggest that we won't be seeing a return of the gang warfare from San Andreas (and VCS?)
