| Joelcool7 said: Well Iwata just recently announced more software features for 3DS. Among the announcements was the announcement that another Harvest Moon game is on the way for 3DS and so is a Rune Factory title. But the problem is Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns was just barely released for 3DS this month in North America. It also hasn't been around in Japan that long either. Nintendo has been announcing other games very early as well like announcing Smash Bros before it even began development. So why did Iwata already confirm the next Harvest Moon title? I mean seriously the last one just hit the market is announcing the next one so quickly a smart idea? Is it an act of desperation? Why is it being announced so early? Whats with all these announcements of titles that aren't in development yet or so early in development usually they wouldn't be announced for another year or so? |
Nintendo didn't announce Rune factory or Harvest moon too early. I already knew about the New harvest moon on October 5 way before the Nintendo's announcement the other day. And I saw screens of the New Rune factory 4 back in JUNE. Besides those aren't even Nintendo's games those are third party titles. And why are mad at Nintendo for announcing already announced games? And the current HM on the 3ds should not be considered a new game when it's just a stupid unneeded port. I will buy it but it was still unneeded.
And wasn't that annoucement a JAPANESE thing not for the other regions. The last HM came out in 2010 in japan for the DS so they announced the next installment in late 2011 that will be released in early 2012 for the 3DS. How is that too early when it will be released in a few months?
Only the Smash bros announcement do I consider too early everything else was fine. And every other company announces games two years before it's released. Don't even get me started on FFXIII
