Is Nintendo rushing announcements of games?

And I don't consider their announcing Harvest Moon an effort to hype up 3DS, the game just isn't that popular. Them announcing DQX so many years ago is a better example... (although I'm not sure if it was SE or Nintendo who did it)

Yeah, I thought it typical that Nintendo usually waits until a couple months or so, or at least until it has been far in development, before a game's release to announce it.
