Right but Iwata is doing everything he can in his power to make 3DS a success and avoid the Ejection seat. I wouldn't be surprised if Gray would end up the Crystal way and be 3DS exclusive.

I believe Iwata has to worry about then the 3DS. Like wii u. Thing is going to relase next year and not many games have been announced yet.
Well system sellers anyway. (Smash Bros,Zelda,Wii Fit)

i know, and you can connect a 3DS with a DS, or a 3DS with a 3DS , and transfer pokemon, or play against DS users , i see no problem here.
so if they have the Gray version on 3DS you can easily transfer your old pokemons from your old DS to your Gray version on the 3DS.
