they only add new pokemon at the beginning of a new generation, Black and White were the beginning and we were introduced to the new pokemon. But Gray will be just like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum- a third game in the generation that has more pokemon avaliable to catch but the same pokemon as the previous games in the generation
