Not really too many 3rd party games on my radar for 3DS right now.  I got too many Nintendo published games lined up to buy in the next few months.  I was thinking about Street Fighter but I kind of think it is lame they have the special moves on the bottom touch pad.  If there is a mode that has that disabled (I don't know) then that would be fine but if playing online allows that always on then I'd rather try something else.  Anyways, I'll try to remember the third parties after I'm done buying Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, etc....
