The D-Pad is bigger on the phat. The a/b/x/y buttons are same size but flat on the phat and rounded on the lite. I like to use the phat when there's not a bunch of small text to read. I also much prefer the phat when playing a tune on Jam Sessions. When I'm traveling I'll take the lite.
