That's a false dichotomy, as we are NOT going "masterpiece or it's crap".
Furthermore, how does your enjoyment of the game relate to this? This is a fact related discussion, not an opinion related one.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
