As for the woman, Zelda from Twilight Princess. The baby, the one from Ordon in the same game. Alternately, it's an imagining of Link's mother with her baby from Ocarina of Time.

But seriously, no Zelda fan should like this artwork. It illustrates how awful it would have been, if Zelda were made by a Western company and not Nintendo. I acknowledge that a lot of work has gone in creating this artwork, but it's not a tribute to one of the greatest series in video game history. It's a disgrace.

I personally LOVE the artist style *A LOT* (the colors, brushwork, lighting...etc)

But I agree, from the moment I first saw it I felt it looked too Western styled. Most of the other characters look fine but Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf at the top look pretty weird.

It's still one EPIC piece of art - - - The last part (the part in the OP) is by far my favourite. It looks so dark, mysterious, and melancholic. 100% Twilight Princess style and I love it

Still, no other series has fans quite like this :)
