Plus, it's for a good cause and it's only for a limited time. It's also an effective way of spreading the message, no matter if the wearers takes it seriously or not. If the bracelets just said something ordinary and boring no one would wear them and awareness wouldn't spread.

But a lot of kids that age aren't wearing it because of the cause, and just wearing it because of "I love boobies" being written on it. Also, the teachers said that it was being distracting, so I guess students weren't paying attention in classes because of them. They also stated other problems, so maybe there was a reason for the ban. It's not like they couldn't wear them, since they could turn them inside out and wear them like that.
