I find it sort of odd that a release date and final name have been announced before filming appears to have started. Honestly films tend to be slated for Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter up until the year of release at earliest. To see an official release date almost two years before release and prior to even starting shooting is really weird.
Either way I am looking forward to this film. However I was disappointed with Live Free or Die Hard. Honestly the film went so far out of the realm of reality it wasn't as enjoyable. I mean taking on an F-22 Raptor with a semi-truck, yah like the semi truck would have a chance in hell. The Raptor missing all its shots and missiles. Of course because in reality we know that the best fighter jet on the market (At the time) with the most precise weapons systems is going to miss a huge semi truck multiple times.
I love action movies but only when they are plausible. Even sci-fi films are interesting if the technology could be possible in the future. But creating movies with action scenes that really are way out to lunch and not in any way possible. These movies are just eye candy to me, I need a believable good plot line to draw me into a film. A ton of explosions , unrealistic fight scenes gun battles where one guy takes down a dozen highly trained military personnel those kinds of movies just aren't going to make the list of movies I really enjoy.
