That's why you have the distractions I mentioned! If a healthy guy has the chance to get sex with an attractive girl at any random moment, he would do so. That is not so with any other act in life. Sex is the most important thing, and all other things you do to improve your chances to have sex or just to do something, to burn time, to escape into another reality, to distract yourself from things, etc. That's all there is to life, really. That's not shallow, it's just the way it is.

Yeah, you're right, a guy would take that opportunity, it doesn't mean everything else is a distraction from that though.

Perhaps not all distractions per sé, but ways to kill time then.
