IMO, the gears 3 game is not moving significant harware rigth now (it moved a lot of it in the first 2 weeks). This makes those 360 numbers even more incredible, problem for Microsoft is World >>> Americas,

Those PS3 and Wii gains are a result of the time of the year, nothing special, but still important for both of them.

But what I really want to say is that Gears 2 > Gears 3 3rd week, by 30k in Americas. I don´t want to make a big fuss about it, because it is still limited data, but this can be a problem for Gears (and other games). Because of those huge first weeks numbers, people are expecting huge numbers when it is all said and done. But if gears 3 finishes this week lower then what gears 2 did, there migth be some short legs for this game, because the amount of games that will be realeased is insane.

I can almost predict, one specific game, that will have alot less first week sales then gears, and people will go "ohhh noezz" kind of reaction, ignoring the fact that with this amount of quality games realeasing, there are going to be games, that will suffer in the biggening, but migth actually catch up if it has better legs (and big realesed games with no legs).

My point is, if legs are already crutial when it come to sales, in this particular time of the year, it will be even more important.

But still too ealry.

Gears 2 released during the Christmas rush whilst Gears 3 released in September. That's why it's under Gears 2 for it's 3rd week.
