In US the 360 just needs games like Gears really, and seasonal uplift. It's the main HD choice now. The challenge for MS is that it could do with a drop in EMEAA though (I'm leaving Japan aside as I think price is nothing do to with it there) but I think they want to remain relatively consistent globally so they're having to rely on US (and say UK) for most of their boosts.
Some interesting game ratios between the two HD platforms there - Dark Souls showing how franchise association always helps, fairly even NBA sales (in fact by ration to install base probably stronger on PS3) and Rage showing the normal FPS / Shooter bias to 360 in the region. FIFA very close too.
Sharper drop for Gears this week, after the huge start it'll be interesting to see where it settles for legs.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
