Not happy with what I saw there.

It appeared that you have to waggle to climb and waggle to ledge walk, tightrope looks pointless. Nunchuk and wiimote shaking required for spin attack and finishing move. Wii Sports Resort allowed motion plus spin attacks with a little imagination maybe Anouma should go play it. Everybody knows the nunchuk is horrid for motion control.

The "waggle" is just to activate a jump via a thrust motion, same for the ledge or swinging. The two-handed attacks sound like fun motion moves. I'd think with the gyroscope, they'd be using motions rather than accelerations.

How about we just press a button to jump instead of waggling or thrusting? Nintendo should use the balance board for jumping if they want to inappropriately use motion control just for the sake of it. Thrusting to the left for spin attacks and down to "finish him" doesn't sound fun, it sounds frustrating when it inevitably fails or isn't recognised correctly in between calibrations.

Zangeki used nunchuk thrusts to dash and it was awful, the nunchuk in general is awful for MC. I hope I'm wrong, it isn't like Nintendo haven't had enough time to perfect the controls.

I can't give an honest reply right now since I haven't played the game yet lik yourself. But I'll be able to check wether or not the motions are a good/bad addition this December.

I'm not hating on MC. I want M+ sword controls and flight controls like WSR, archery controls would be good too.

Stabs, thrusts and nunchuk motions are nearly always glitchy. WSR already has the controls for a spin attack without need for nunchuk and wiimote thrusts.

Motion control for climbing, jumping, ledge walking just seems inappropriate and gimmicky.

I hope I'm wrong
