Maybe we should start worrying about 360 owners buying games when its software is being outsold by a smaller userbase in North America and greatly outsold worldwide? Or the PS3 software sales where the system is selling software well for its hardware numbers, but because of its hardware numbers is being killed worldwide? |
Well, to be fair, he did say "no one is playing games on wii" and not the standard "no one is buying games for thr wii." I suppose he and other "credible" analysts now have to change their words, after seeing those very numbers that you pointed out.
I mean, I know when I buy a wii game, I don't drop $15-$50 to play the game.......who would do that? I just buy it for the nice cover, so I can brag to people that I have wii games. And 3rd party devs care about this greatly. They don't want sales. They just want people to be playing their games all the time. And this is why they will stop making wii games, which are profitable, and make PS360 games, which don't make money, but of course, people play games 10 hrs a day. (Note: this 2nd part was sarcasm).
Also, @ TWRoO......I think that there is an actual ping-pong game in Wii Play.
