I don't have any raw figures to back me up and I could just be talking out of my ass. With that said, I've seen it time and again where it's been stated that sales for Oct, Nov, and Dec are equal to or greater than the sales for the other nine months combined. Microsoft is shooting their gaming load in the last few months of the year (Forza, Gears--which was in September, Halo Anniversary, and a few Kinect titles). Who's to say that there won't be some price cut or a big Kinect push, too? Add to that the promise of new dashboard functionality and TV support.

It's definitely possible.

Yea, I agree with this. With Kinect and it's appeal to the casual audience, I think MS can at least tie Sony for the last 3 months of the year, and I do expect a surprise Kinect price cut + Bundle. I also wouldn't be surprised if MS made a Forza 4, Gears 3 or even Halo Reach bundle.

Even if they just bump up the hard drive in the Arcade model to 12GB, that would be like a price cut. I still use my 20GB (14 available GB) hard drive on my old SKU 360 and I don't fill it up, even with videos and DLC.

Anything is possible, but I expect PS3 to outsell 360 for October. Maybe I'm wrong and Just Dance 3 will boost 360 numbers substantially. I remember when Wii Fit came out seeing people come to stores just looking for that in particular.

but just dace is also on the playstation? plus xbox has dance central while move has everybody dance plus with the move price cut i reckon just dance 3 plus a few new casual move games and everybody dance will do great with the casuals plus the battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3 holidays bundle will do great in america while the silver and white limited editions 3 will kill in europe so xbox can win but it's very unlikely, they need a pricecut
