as far as i'm concerned all Sony needs to do is continue to provide unrivaled content and innovatively, stunning graphically, genre/industry defining games and they should have the 8th gen on lock.

also resurrect every ip they own and publish them.

Every company wants to be the leader in market share, so yeah they will want to be on top.

and in theory they need to be. the leader has the most sells and makes the most money. also not always the case.
