In this case i'd say it often requires more knowledge of business and economics trends than you might expect people to have. Like someone who, right now, is banking on a supplemental income of Saturday work at the Post Office, or just the US Postal Service in general, would be pretty dumb, but what about someone working for RIM? Who could have foreseen the fall of the Blackberry?
