It baffles me how the GOP Greed Over People party continue to alienate everyone but the rich. Let's blame the unemployed. It's their fault that greedy corporations layoff people just so they can increase their profits! Some people work so hard to get a degree, Then they work in a company but suddenly they are laid off. How is that their fault? So much for creating jobs...

Are you implying that a company lays people off entirely at random and doesn't take factors you're in control of into consideration?

Are you suggesting that an individual can not recognize when the company or industry they're working in is in decline and make rational decisions to change careers before they're laid off?

It is one thing to be empathetic or sympathetic to individuals because they made decisions that worked out poorly for them, it is another thing altogether to claim that they had no control over their outcomes ...

In this case i'd say it often requires more knowledge of business and economics trends than you might expect people to have. Like someone who, right now, is banking on a supplemental income of Saturday work at the Post Office, or just the US Postal Service in general, would be pretty dumb, but what about someone working for RIM? Who could have foreseen the fall of the Blackberry?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
