From all the talk going around online, the dev kits for the Wii U have been less than satisfactory. They either haven't been working right or just broke, I believe I read.

That was my thread, and it may very well be bull. I'm pretty sure the lines running from the Wii U controllers at E3 were just tethers to keep them bound to the stands, and that they were functioning wirelessly
Though that may not be the case.
