Step 1 is making an account.

Make baby steps lurkers.  Make baby steps.

Step 4 find a few friends that are willing to talk with you on  a regular basis. Online friends but still friends then you will have a reason to come back, and know who to look for in the threads!

Yes that is the second biggest reason why I stay here at the chartz.
