The thing is, if you get an GTX TI, you wont be able to play, lets say, Battlefield 3 on Very High with a stable framerate either. The Card youve mentioned is probably among the best at that price point, but it wont enable you to play newest games on high end settings. HOWEVER, if you feel like having more affinity towards your PC, go with the Card first. if you didnt feel to have a PS3 at ya' Home for the past 3 Years, you wont die waiting another couple of months. And if you intend to play .. lets say, Skyrim, Rage, Modern Warfare 3 and so on, you get the superior, and on top of it, cheaper version on your Computer. And if you get a PS3, lets say, next March, you may be able to get many great PS3 title's for far less money by then. my personal opinion is; Get a PS3, and let God of War III blow your mind until it bleeds of satisfaction, but i am totally biased towards my PS3, since i couldnt care less for the PC's library (Console RPG Fanboy, i am. -Yoda), the same for Indie Games. |
I don't mind turing some things down lol, most implementations of motion blur for example annoy me more than anything and most games use to much bloom for my likeing so i usally turn them off anyway. And why would I want to see less clearly plus have plpha blending issues on transparent objects fk depth of feild. As long as I can crank textures to max and not dip below 30fps at 1080p I am pretty happy usually a bit of AA never hurt anyone ether.
The 560 ti can run the unoptomised BF3 Beta on high with 40fps+ average with motion blur and post AA so that's all good, not that i am planning on getting the game, I will try out the Beta tonight. The one I worry about is Metro Last Light now that will be a monster. There is always the possibility of overclocking the 560 up to a 570, not that i am really a fan of overclocking stability is more important than a little extra performance but i could be tempted...
