The best use of a SSD is for installing your OS and most frequently loaded programs onto. If you're not using it for those purposes, it's not really going to benefit you much.


Yeah its just better load times in games I am after. Crysis 1 load time was more than halved when I got an SSD. Faster game installs, faster level loads etc...

I have a 60 GB SATA III SSD as boot drive and its awesome. Windows 7 boots in like 5 seconds after post.

I hear ya though...maybe even one of these VelociRaptors is good enough for gaming.
