The thing is that there is no way the PS3 will disappoint you, and by the sound of things the card actually might do just that. Also, PS3 games get marked down significantly 2-3 months after release (I just picked up Dragon Age 2 for 1/3 the original price). Plus you get a media hub so you can access your pc from your tv, bluray player etc. Kinda depends if you have a nice home theatre setup too since a big ass tv and 7.2 srs is unbeatable imo.

Of course, I am biased here since I love my PS3 so much.

If you are really into spectacular graphics then I would rather say stick with your PC. So if you get a just by seeing jaggies then its not really worth it.

Anyways, opinions are opinions...

As I don't have an HD TV the PS3 would be pluged into my 24in 1080p monitor and some cheap headphones lol. And I could pick up the superior PC verson of DA2 for less than 1/3 of the origonal PS3 version price any time I want...

Graphics aren't that important to me I spend most of my time playing games like Minecraft, Binding of Isaac and other indie games but if you can have better graphics why not? Playing games like the Witcher 2 in full 1080p is amzing and with a 560 ti I could do it at 60fps, and Batman: AC with PhysX and DX11 is sure to be god like.

And why do you think the new GPU would dissapoint me if you don't mind me asking.

I too play my ps3 games on a 24" 1080p monitor! absolutely fantastic :D

high DPI FTW
