September 26, 1986... something was unleashed on that day. A game that would let us go on a great adventure to battle the greatest monsters that ever lived... including the most legendary monster of them all... Dracula!
It's been 25 years since then, and we've been using the legendary whip Vampire Killer to slay all sorts of monstrous creatures that dare get in our way. We've seen a lot of changes to the series, from the humble action sidescrollers of the inital games, to the now famous Metroid style (dubbed Metroidvania by some) implemented by Koji Igarashi, and even going to the 3D hack 'n slash gameplay that Lords of Shadow has implemented. But what brings us back time after time is the call to return Dracula back to his grave. And with the whip in our hand and a chill in the air... we return to Castlevania to celebrate its 25th anniversary!

Rules for Voting:

  • For each of the available topics that you can vote on, you'll be able to choose up to five subjects for that category (Voting for five subjects is not mandatory, but is just the limit in how many you can vote for). Be sure to place them in descending order (From number one to number five).
  • Instead of writing down every single option for every single topic, I made it so that you can click on any game and find every subject for that said topic (EXAMPLE: For "Favorite Boss", you're choosing up to five seperate bosses, and not the game that the boss appears in).
  • Your first place vote will receive 5 points, your second place vote will receive 4 points, your 3rd place vote will receive 3 points, so on and so forth.
  • If you don't have a top 5, then you can vote for less if you desire.
  • The choices below for each category are what I could find, but with such a robust history, I'm bound to have missed a couple of things here and there. So if you see a game or an important character/boss/monster/game etc. that's missing, please notify me and I'll add it right away.
