Most girls just pretend to be guys because its easier than proving you're a girl and it spares you the trouble of dealing with being called a bitch everytime you piss someone off. :)
I would also think it better for you to be seen as a normal guy instead of a creepy girl. Besides if you say you're a girl you're automatically held in suspision of being a guy anyway so why not just claim you're one in the first place. Besides, what girl doesn't like to pretend she has a penis? ;)
