It definitely won't outsell Uncharted 2 but it will end up in the same ballpark of 5 million copies lifetime thanks to long legs.

Honestly it's more of the same, won't get the same incredible Metascore and this time it's got much harder competion in the best Holiday season of gaming in history (Creed, Skyrim, COD, Batman, BF3, Darksouls and Rage).

facepalm...neither you or I know of the SP yet...but MP? more of the same? ignorant much?

Don't mind him... He has an agenda against all games that aren't open-world or semi-open-world.

True, sort of. But I firmly believe it wont outsell Uncharted 2. It's not controversial to say it will be slightly outsold by UC2 and end around 5 million?

That's fair. I actually don't think it'll outsell UC2 either.

But you gotta admit, your 'more of the same' comment is uncalled for. The MP is levels ahead of UC2 from what I've played. The games has split screen added. That's great. As for the single-player, we haven't seen much, but I'm sure it's still going to be fresh. The cargo trailer really showed some nice improvements. The biggest one being the fight mechanics. I don't think I've ever seen a fight scene that well implemented in a game before.

Obviously it will have some improvements and changes like you listed but nearly all sequels have those. I am sure an Assassin's Creed fan would list a bunch too when hyping Revelations (especially all the new MP modes). But for me the difference between Uncharted 1 and 2 was already minor.

You use more-of-the-same as a reason that UC3 won't outsell UC2, but then you go and say UC2 wasn't much of an improvement over UC1... even though UC2 greatly outsold UC1. You really aren't helping your case.

Oops.

I thought both Uncharteds stood at around 5 million copies.

*sigh* You are a horrible debater.
