Maybe, but this isn't new.
Multiplayer may hurt Uncharted 3, the beta was pretty meh, and the gameplay looks the exact same. It's really going to depend on how well the story is this time around.
Even if it's an all around better game then Uncharted 2, it might still get a lower score, and not get GOTY. Gears 3 is the best Gears of the franchise, but it has the lowest metascore. Halo Reach is all around better then Halo 3, but again lower sales, lower review score.
