amen to that... as a Brit I am so proud and happy we managed to keep away from the dogs dinner that is the Euro.

That is an extremely closed mined view. Having a euro currency is fantastic for the most part. The sterling is an incredibly resiliant currency but i can't help but feel the UK will have to eventually change. Although, it was a good move by the UK government to keep it's currency. For countries like Ireland, it has helped us alot being in the euro.
