Halo 4: is 343 taking inspiration from Red Dead and LA Noire?

They are continuing the story of the Master Chief in a new trilogy.

I saw the blue, I saw the name, I knew what was up! :P Ok, I was just confused on why it would be considered 4 then? Why not start over? Or do we just not have a name yet?

It will be called Halo 4 because it's events take place after Halo 3 so naming it something else wouldn't make much sense and in all honesty it would probably sell slightly less.
