Why did Xbox outsold the PS3 by 2:1 this week in Americas?

This is pretty much the only thing keeping the Xbox360 ahead of the PS3 Gears bundle.I brought this bundle even though I like PS3 more and I want it to past 360.If PS3 made some limited edition PS3 I would have like 4 PS3's.
