Did the Wii Wasted its Potential With Motion Control?

IT wasted it's potential with abysmal hardware.

 

KEep the motion controls..but for the love of god, would it have been such a pain to have hardware that isn't from 2001? 

 

And also the terrible online system is a waste too.
